Many of the exercises in the book suggest the use of a Ti-83/Ti-84 calculator, and tips for using the calculator successfully are integrated into the text.

About the Author

Aniruddha Mitra earned his Ph.D. in mechanical engineering at the University of Nevada, Reno. He is a full professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Georgia Southern University. Dr. Mitra's research interests include the airborne nanoparticles, vibration analysis, and engineering education. Aditi Mitra earned her M.S. degrees at the University of Nevada, Reno and at Georgia Southern University. She is a lecturer of mathematics at Georgia Southern University and has more than 15 years of experience in teaching math classes at higher education institutions.
