The plates illustrated his globe electrical machine, with three large Leyden Phials, his electrically operated mill, clock and orrery models, as well as a electrical triple pump. The final section describes several curious experiments with medical electricity, including one where he himself went to Mr. Adlam with a sore throat, where the medical electrician applied electrical sparks to his throat over the course of a couple hours, and he felt cured.
