What reviewers are saying about Lane’s Interpersonal Communication: Competence and Contexts:
“The author does a great job of defining concepts through logical definitions, followed by concrete examples to bridge the gap between theory and application.” ― Suzanne Stangl-Erkens, St. CloudState University
“I really appreciate how there are examples taken from the media (i.e., the blogs and movie transcripts) because the new generation of students can relate to these more so than just a story used as an example.” ― Karen Lada, DelawareCounty Community College
“I really like the features in this text. Specifically, the activities and responding to the blog lend themselves easily to active and cooperative learning strategies within the classroom. I wish more texts would include such features.” ― Jo Anna Grant, CSU (San Bernadino)
