Internet of Things and Analytics for Agriculture: Vol 4

This edited book presents recent findings on use of IoT-based monitoring systems to analyse functional frameworks for intelligent computational analysis of sustainable agricultural system, field monitoring and automation systems, agriculture sensor network, sensor-based precision agriculture, expert systems for soil management, remote monitoring and predictive analysis systems, AI-based emergency alert systems, crop monitoring, AI-based predictive analysis, smart irrigation, and data acquisition security. Tech and Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering, India, and Postdoc Fellow from Institute of Information Technology, Virtual Reality and Multimedia, Vietnam & Honorary Adjunct Distinguished Scientist, Artificial Intelligence Laboratory–AI Lab, Ton Duc Thang university, Vietnam (April 21, 2022 - April 20, 2023). He serves as Series Editor Internet of Everything (IOE): Security and Privacy Paradigm, Green Engineering and Technology: Concepts and Applications, publishes by CRC press, Taylor & Francis Group, USA, and Bio-Medical Engineering: Techniques and Applications, Publishes by Apple Academic Press, CRC Press, Taylor & Francis Group, USA.  He also serves as acquisition editor for Computer Science by Apple Academic Press, CRC Press, Taylor & Francis Group, USA. He has published number of research papers in international journal (SCI/SCIE/ESCI/Scopus) and conferences including IEEE and Springer as well as serve as organizing chair (RICE-2019, 2020, 2021), volume Editor (RICE-2018), ICNGIoT-2021, 2022, ICCSEA-2023, ICMIB-2024 Keynote speaker, session chair, Co-chair, publicity chair, publication chair, advisory board, Technical program Committee members in many international and national conferences and serve as guest editors in many special issues from reputed journals (Indexed By: Scopus, ESCI, SCI). Dr. Prasant Kumar Pattnaik, Ph.D (Computer Science), Fellow IETE, Senior Member IEEE is a Professor at the School of Computer Engineering, KIIT Deemed University, Bhubaneswar. He has more than a decade of teaching and research experience. Dr. Pattnaik has published numbers of Research Papers in peer-reviewed International Journals and Conferences. He also published many edited book volumes in Springer and IGI Global Publication. His areas of interest include Mobile Computing, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Intelligent Systems and Brain Computer Interface. He is one of the Associate Editor of Journal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems, IOS Press and Intelligent Systems Book Series Editor of CRC Press, Taylor Francis Group.

 Dr. Souvik Pal is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Sister Nivedita University (Techno India Group), Kolkata, India. Prior to that, he was associated with Global Institute of Management and Technology; Brainware University, Kolkata; JIS College of Engineering, Nadia; Elitte College of Engineering, Kolkata; and Nalanda Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar, India. Dr. Pal received his MTech, and PhD degrees in the field of Computer Science and Engineering from KIIT University, Bhubaneswar, India. He has more than a decade of academic experience. He is author or co-editor of more than 15 books from reputed publishers, including Elsevier, Springer, CRC Press, and Wiley, and he holds three patents. He is serving as a Series Editor for “Advances in Learning Analytics for Intelligent Cloud-IoT Systems”, published by Scrivener-Wiley Publishing (Scopus-indexed);  “Internet of Things: Data-Centric Intelligent Computing, Informatics, and Communication”, published CRC Press, Taylor & Francis Group, USA; “Conference Proceedings Series on Intelligent Systems, Data Engineering, and Optimization”, published CRC Press, Taylor & Francis Group, USA;  Dr. Pal has published a number of research papers in Scopus / SCI/SCIE Journals and conferences.
