Not dated. Edition and printing not known. In very good tan cloth boards, in three quarter mottled cloth and brown cloth with gilt ruled lines to side of spine and corners and gilt crest to front. The boards are tight, straight and quite clean; spine and edges firm. Unmarked end papers featuring close up image of brown leather. The text block is very firm and flat, red mottled cut edges that are lightly marked; the pages otherwise not tanned, foxed or marked, very good plus condition. Black and white frontispiece with tissue guard with explanation titled 'The First Trial By Jury" in red. No dedications etc. Without jacket.

Our Bookshop is in Copse Road in Clevedon and is open every day, seven days a week, from 10.00am to 5.00pm. The Bookshop Co-operative comprises nearly 650 members from around the world and was set up to stop the only second-hand bookshop in our town from closing. The benefit of being a member/shareholder is only social: no-one benefits financially. All profits are used to improve the bookshop and its stock, and, through events, to contribute to the literacy and literary profile of our town. Shipping Terms

We pack our books in corrugated book wrap or book boxes. We try to respond to orders the same day as we receive them or during the next business day. Shipping costs are based on books weighing up to 1.1 lb, or 0.5KG. If your book order is particularly heavy or oversized, we may contact you to request an additional payment to cover extra postage costs.
