About the Authors:
Prof. James Bindenagel war Inhaber der Henry-Kissinger-Professur und ist Senior Professor am Center for Advanced Security, Strategic and Integration Studies der Universität Bonn.
Prof. Dr. DDr. h. c. Matthias Herdegen ist Direktor des Center for International Security and Governance sowie Direktor des Instituts für Öffentliches Recht und des Instituts für Völkerrecht der Universität Bonn.
Prof. Dr. Dr. h. c. Karl Kaiser ist Vorsitzender des Direktoriums des Center for International Security and Governance der Universität Bonn und Senior Associate, Weatherhead Center for International Affairs Harvard University der Harvard University.
Prof. Dr. Tilman Mayer lehrt seit 2001 Politische Theorie, Ideen- und Zeitgeschichte an der Universität Bonn.
Wolfgang Ischinger ist seit 2008 Vorsitzender der Münchner Sicherheitskonferenz und berät die Allianz SE. Der Karrierediplomat war u.a. Leiter des Planungsstabs, Politischer Direktor und Staatssekretär im Auswärtigen Amt sowie deutscher Botschafter in den USA und im Vereinigten Königreich.
