Please note that this is only Volume I of the Encyclopedia (other volumes are not included). Cloth hardcover in very good condition. Binding tight and pages clean without notes or highlighting (some press/bend marks on initial pages). Cloth cover still has good color without fading, fraying, or tears. Some press marks from dust jacket have impressed on back cover. Dust jacket has color fading at spine, minor tears at corners/spine/edges, and scratches/press marks/bends in various places, especially at edges. We are a Benedictine Abbey and Seminary library in Oregon. We appreciate your support.

Mount Angel Abbey Library is housed in a world-renowned building designed by Finnish architect, Alvar Aalto. The architecture of the Abbey Library reflects and shapes its spirit and purpose. The building's natural light illumines the multi-color bindings, offered on open stacks against a disciplined black and white background, softened by undulating curves and light colored wood. The structure, including three stories and a mezzanine, was completed in 1970. The library is a part of Mount Angel Abbey a community of Benedictine Monks.
