8vo, pp. 19, [1]. Extracted from a volume. Title-page slightly foxed. St Cuthbert?s, at the west end of Princes Street, began operating a poorhouse in the 1760s, which expanded substantially in the nineteenth century before being forced to move by the creation of Caledonian Railway in the 1860s.
