A conceptual model for analyzing the impact of Interaction Design was developed, in the context of Cyberjournalism. The model was operationalized into a matrix and into an interactivity scale. Through an observation instrument constructed with variables from the matrix, we applied the developed model to a sample of digital journals. Inês Amaral is a PhD student in Science Communication at University of Minho, Portugal. She has a Journalism degree, a master in Science Communication and a post-graduation degree in Multimedia. Inês Amaral is a Junior Researcher at Communication & Society Research Centre (University of Minho) and a Lecture at Instituto Superior Miguel Torga.
