The definitive guide to building AI-powered organisations where human intent drives intelligent execution. Every era of business has been shaped by a new competitive advantage—scale, efficiency, connectivity or agility. The next era will be defined by intelligence. As generative AI, autonomous agents, large language models (LLMs) and machine-scale reasoning reshape the enterprise, traditional instruction-led organisations are reaching their limits. In Intent, globally respected business and technology leader Bhaskar Ghosh introduces a groundbreaking operating model for the AI age: the Human-Led Autonomous Enterprise. Rather than relying on rigid processes and predefined workflows, this new model empowers leaders to define purpose, outcomes and guardrails, while intelligent AI systems execute, adapt, learn and continuously improve at scale. Drawing on decades of experience leading digital transformation for global enterprises, Ghosh presents the I-NewGen Framework, a practical roadmap for moving beyond AI experimentation and isolated pilots to delivering measurable business value. At the heart of this transformation is the Enterprise Digital Brain, an innovative organisational capability that connects strategy, knowledge, decision-making and execution into a continuously learning system powered by artificial intelligence. This essential business book explores how organisations can successfully adopt AI strategy, enterprise AI, digital transformation, automation, intelligent agents, organisational redesign, business innovation and responsible AI to create lasting competitive advantage. Rather than replacing people, Intent demonstrates how AI can amplify human judgement, accelerate innovation and build enterprises that become smarter with every decision they make. Ideal for CEOs, CXOs, business leaders, board members, entrepreneurs, technology executives, AI practitioners, consultants, digital transformation professionals, management students and anyone shaping the future of work, Intent offers a visionary yet practical blueprint for leading organisations through the age of artificial intelligence. Introduces the Human-Led Autonomous Enterprise, a new operating model for the AI era. Features the I-NewGen Framework for scaling AI across the enterprise with measurable outcomes. Explains the Enterprise Digital Brain and how intelligent systems transform decision-making and execution. Essential reading for leaders driving AI adoption, digital transformation, business strategy, innovation and organisational change.…
