About the Author
Dr. Balvinder Shukla is a professor of entrepreneurship, leadership & Information Technology and is currently the Vice Chancellor of Amity University Uttar Pradesh. She has an M.Tech from IIT Kharagpur and a Ph.D. from Queen’s University, UK. She is the co-author of several books including 'The Role of Business Incubators in the Economic Growth of India' and 'Human Resource Management'. Her keen areas of interest lie in promoting Entrepreneurship, Research, Internationalization, CSR, and Industry-Academia Collaborations. She has conducted several executive programs and consulting assignments for Industry and mentored many budding Entrepreneurs, Women Entrepreneurs, and Family Business Owners in various clusters/sectors. Her contributions are widely acclaimed and recognised with numerous prestigious awards and honours. Some of the recent ones are “Excellence in Entrepreneurship Development Award, Academic Leadership Award, Excellent Contribution to Education Sector Award, Vice Chancellor of the Year Award, and Life-Time Achievement Award” and the latest one “National Distinguished Vice Chancellor Award” by the esteemed Indian Institute of Ecology and Environment, and the prestigious Sushma Swaraj Stree Shakti Samman Award in 2024."
Prof. Mahadeo Jaiswal is the Director of Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Sambalpur. Prior to this he was Professor in Information Systems and Dean (Research) at MDI, Gurgaon. His qualifications include PGPX from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA; PhD in Computer Science from Delhi University and Sr. Fulbright Fellow from Carnegie Mellon University, USA. His area of expertise includes Innovation Strategy for Start-ups, Digital Innovation & Platform Eco Systems, Social Entrepreneurship, eGovernment, ERP and IT Strategy. He has published more than 100 research papers and Cases in International Journals and He is author of 7 books in Information Systems and Digital Strategy. He has pioneered in introducing Flipped Classroom as a learning pedagogy in India. He has been a member of several expert committees of GOI and Industry. He has been providing Management Consultancy on ERP/Digital Transformation projects for over 40 large firms, such as SAIL, Coal India, PowerGrid, ADB, HPPCL, Indian Railways etc.
Dr. Nitasha Hasteer is a Professor and Head of the Information Technology Department, as well as the Deputy Director (Academics) at the Amity School of Engineering & Technology, Amity University Uttar Pradesh. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering and has over 24 years of teaching, research, and administrative experience across academia and industry. Her primary research interests lie in Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Crowdsourced Software Development, Software Project Management, and Process Modeling using Multi-Criteria Decision-Making Techniques. Dr. Hasteer has made significant contributions to these fields, publishing more than 80 research papers in renowned international journals and conferences. Her work focuses on advancing computational techniques and methodologies that improve software development processes and decision-making frameworks, as well as exploring the integration of machine learning with cloud-based systems for optimized, scalable solutions. She has successfully guided numerous postgraduate dissertations and is currently mentoring PhD scholars in both Computer Science & Engineering and Management. Dr. Hasteer has also contributed to the academic community as an editor for books published by prestigious publishers such as Springer and Taylor & Francis. Her academic leadership extends to the broader research community, where she has served on the editorial boards of several high-impact international conferences. She has secured research funding from prominent governmental organizations, including the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), the Department of Science & Technology (DST), the Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO), the Indian National Science Academy (INSA), and the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) for organizing international conferences that advance knowledge in the domain of Information Technology.
Dr. Rahul Sindhwani is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Sambalpur, Odisha, India. Prior to this, he was associated with the Birla Institute of Management and Technology. Dr. Sindhwani holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Mechanical Engineering and was awarded a gold medal during his Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Industrial Engineering and Management. He earned his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and Management from J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology and subsequently completed his Post Doc in Operations Management and Decision Science at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Amritsar. His areas of expertise include the Digitalization of Supply Chains, Agile Project Management, and Operations Management. With more than a decade of experience in teaching and research, Dr. Sindhwani has published extensively in internationally recognized ABDC- and ABS-ranked journals, such as Annals of Operations Research, Journal of Enterprise Information Management, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Journal of Cleaner Production, and Technological Forecasting and Social Change, among others. In addition to his research contributions, Dr. Sindhwani serves as a guest editor for the Journal of Global Responsibility, further underscoring his reputation as a distinguished academic. He is also the editor of five books on industrial engineering and management published by Springer and Taylor & Francis. He has developed innovative frameworks and concepts that have significantly improved organizational operational efficiencies and competitiveness, showcasing his deep expertise in these fields.
Professor Sangeeta Khorana is a Professor of International Trade Policy at Aston Business School since July 2023. She holds the prestigious Chair of International Trade Policy endowed by the Chartered Institute of Export and International Trade in London. She has worked at Bournemouth University, Keele and Aberystwyth universities in the United Kingdom as well as in institutions including ETH Zurich and the University of St. Gallen, where she earned her PhD. A former officer in the Indian civil services, she collaborates with global organizations, including the WTO Gender Hub and governments on trade policy issues. Her research focuses on trade governance, free trade agreements, sustainable supply chains, and procurement reform.

Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer you can withdraw from the contract in accordance with the following. Consumer means any natural person who is acting for purposes which are outside his trade, business, craft or profession.
Information regarding the right of withdrawal
Statutory right to withdraw
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good or the last lot or piece.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, electronically fill in and submit a clear statement on our website, under "My Purchases" in "My Account". We will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to Basi6 International, Irving, Texas, U.S.A., without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- The delivery of newspapers, journals or magazines with the exception of subscription contracts; and
- The supply of digital content which is not supplied on a tangible medium (e.g. on a CD or DVD) if you accepted when you placed your order that we could start to deliver it, and that you could not withdraw once delivery had started.
Shipping terms
All orders shipped via FedEx or DHL and delivered to your doorstep within 3-5 days. We do not ship to P.O.Boxes and a proper street address must be provided to avoid any delays.
