Synopsis: This volume contains 14 chapters covering intelligent techniques applied to signal processing and communications engineering problems. The chapters are based on a selection of topics presented at the 4th Bayona Workshop on Intelligent Methods in Signal Processing and Communications, held in Bayona, Vigo, Spain, in June 1996.
