About the Author: Eugene Frazier Sr. served six years in the United States Army and was honorably discharged as a sergeant, E-6. Later, Mr. Frazier was employed as a police officer with the Charleston County Police Department. This employment would span more than twenty-five years until his retirement as a police lieutenant with the Charleston County Sheriff's Office. After his retirement, Mr. Frazier was employed for eight years with the U.S. Marshal Service as a court security officer (CSO). Eugene is married to the former Francis E. Prioleau. They have three children, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
