Print on Demand. This book investigates the healing of wounds to the intestines and the effects these wounds have on the body. Before this work, it was commonly believed that wounds to the intestines were universally fatal. The author conducted experiments on animals in order to provide the first comprehensive study of this injury and gather evidence demonstrating that wounds to the intestines could, in fact, be treated and healed. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book.…
