Print on Demand. This book presents primary source evidence and testimony regarding the death of Arthur, Earl of Essex, who was imprisoned in the Tower of London and found with his throat cut, which was officially ruled a suicide. The author disputes this ruling and argues that Essex was the victim of a political conspiracy and was murdered. The book draws on various firsthand accounts, including those of Essex's servants and the coroner's jury, to reconstruct the events leading up to and including his death. This book sheds new light on a significant historical event and challenges the traditional narrative surrounding Essex's death, offering a compelling and thought-provoking examination of the intersection between politics, religion, and justice in 17th-century England. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book.…
