Monotony and forever were foreign concepts to me. Unfathomable and completely out of reach… until the day my little dark raincloud came pouring into my life.
Sure, she came with a clingy ex and a trauma riddled past, but none of that could overshadow the magnificence that is Vanna Taylor.
The moment I laid eyes on her, I suddenly knew what forever meant and I would stop at nothing to have it with her.
Vanna
My life was finally considered normal. I had a decent job, lived with my best friend, and was slowly climbing out of the deep dark trenches of my past.
Then, my best friend gets pregnant, leaving me to find someone to pay the other half of the rent. It just so happens; her boyfriend’s roommate is also in need of a place to live.
Enter Stone Carter. The playful tattoo artist that branded me the night we met. Now, months later, he’s moving in… not just into my apartment, but perhaps that cold little thing in my chest that barely beats.
