Print on Demand. This book delves into the influence of the anti-vivisection movement on the character of its proponents, arguing that it harms the moral fabric of its advocates. The author presents a series of distressing letters and quotes from anti-vivisectionists to provide evidence of the often cruel and vindictive passions aroused by this movement. The author argues that by putting a greater value on the well-being of animals than on the lives of human beings, anti-vivisectionism dehumanizes individuals and fosters a spirit of cruelty towards humanity. The author emphasizes that vivisection has led to major medical advancements, such as the development of vaccines and anesthetics, which have saved countless human lives. The book concludes by highlighting how anti-vivisection endangers human life by opposing essential medical research and that it hampers progress in many areas of medicine. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book.…

With minor modifications, man and the lower animals are alike in almost all particulars, both in structure and function, in health and disease.
