We cannot anticipate all that life will require of us. The unexpected trials of living come for everyone. What shapes us, are the choices we make in the face of those who have hurt us and those whom we have hurt. In his third collection, Ohio poet Brandon Noel comes full circle, dealing with the great paradox of our seemingly limitless personal depth, and the unshakeable sense that we are incomplete. These poems explore both ends of that extreme, coming to different answers and more questions, squared often in the walls of love and forgiveness over despair.
