The manufacturing sector is undergoing its most profound transformation since the introduction of assembly lines. Today, competitive advantage is no longer built solely on physical machinery—it is won or lost in the industrial IoT infrastructure, the data architecture, and the software layers that connect your shop floor to your global operations.
Industry 4.0 Infrastructure Systems: A Practical Guide to Smart Manufacturing, IIoT, Cyber-Physical Systems, Digital Twins, AI and Connected Supply Chains is the definitive handbook for engineers, operations managers, and enterprise leaders who need to transition legacy factories into autonomous, data-driven powerhouses. This book bypasses high-level theoretical hype to deliver a concrete, step-by-step smart factory deployment guide.
What You Will Master Inside:
- Cyber-Physical Systems Engineering: Learn how to bridge the gap between Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) using resilient, scalable architectures.
- Digital Twin Implementation Frameworks: Master the exact steps of how to build digital twin models that leverage predictive maintenance digital twins for zero-downtime operations.
- AI in Factory Automation: Deploy machine learning supply chain optimization models and AI digital twins strategies to dynamically respond to market volatility.
- Edge Computing & Factory Data Acquisition: Build a robust edge computing IIoT sensor stack to collect, process, and analyze real time data processing manufacturing streams securely.
- OT Cybersecurity Infrastructure: Protect your critical infrastructure with zero-trust network architectures tailored specifically for industrial communication systems.
Written specifically as a smart manufacturing blueprint for modern practitioners, this text blends academic rigour with real-world application. Whether you are looking for an authoritative IIoT architecture textbook for your engineering team or an actionable industry 4.0 roadmap for corporate enterprise digital twin deployment, this guide provides the case studies, schematics, and technical deep-dives required to succeed.
Stop reacting to hardware failures and supply chain disruptions. Disrupt your competitors by building a highly scalable, self-optimizing ecosystem from the ground up.
