Volume I is the second edition of a work originally published in 1963. It covers natural and synthetic waxes. It builds upon information contained in "Commercial Waxes." Volume II covers "compounded" waxes, that may mix natural or synthetic waxes with "dissimilar" materials that might include "cellulose, natural and synthetic resins, and plastics." These two volumes are mostly clean and straight, without any observed markings. There were seen some spots of discoloration, such as possibly may have resulted from stray droplets in a laboratory or workshop.
