Mariah Jones is a typical college student, working day by day to get her degree while trying to find balance between her academics and her love life. That is, until one night when her long-time boyfriend, Rick, is murdered right before her eyes. Through the grief of the loss of the love of her life Mariah, with the help of her friends, embarks on a journey to find the killer. But who would want to kill Rick, star basketball player for his school and all-around nice guy? Was the murder just a case of 'wrong place, wrong time'? Or was there something deeper going on.
