This project might ddfy everything you know about colored pencil!
Would you believe these luscious berries were drawn with just 6 colored pencils? That's right - you'll learn how to create your own range of stunning hues with just 6 Polychromos pencils- red, yellow, blue, brown, white and black. Ekaterina's secret to achieving insanely realistic, vibrant paintings is a secret no more - you can make stunning colored pencil art that you'll want to frame and display proudly - with only a handful of supplies!
The clear instruction will guide you from start to finish with 32 step by step images. Bursting with Berries is a great way to try out Faber-Castell Polychromos without having to invest in a whole set.
What you'll learn:
- Mixing and Creating Colors: The magic of Ekaterina's technique lies in how she layers primary colors to achieve richly colored berries that are just dripping with maximum realism.
- Wood Grain: You will use all 6 colors to create the smooth wooden bowl and the wooden table it sits upon. Ekaterina simplifies the process of achieving natural wood grains. You won't believe how easy it is!
- Blurred Vignette Background: This background method really draws all the attention to your delicious looking bowl of berries and makes you want to just reach out and take a bite!
