A country's food security will be jeopardized if the grave long-term challenges spearheaded by changes in climate dampen the country's initiatives to boost its agricultural production. Realizing the adverse effects of climate change, this study therefore attempts at predicting the impacts of climate change on Malaysians' main staple food crop, which is paddy. Adjusting to climate change will require better management of agricultural practices and systems. This study represents an effort in this direction as it aims to discover a feasible adaptation strategy. This will also empower the government's development plan and policies, especially in regard to ensuring the sustainability of paddy sector and an ample food supply for future generation.
