Impact and Potential of Machine Learning in the Metaverse

Shilpa Mehta has completed her PhD degree from Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand. She has five years of teaching experience from different reputed colleges and universities of India. Currently, she is working as a Teaching Assistant at Auckland University of Technology (AUT), Auckland, New Zealand. She was awarded Summer Doctoral Research Scholarship for her PhD research. She has worked on various interdisciplinary research projects and her research interests include Radio Frequency Integrated Circuits, RF front ends, Optimization, Internet of Things, Wireless Communication, Artificial Intelligence, Healthcare, Radars, and Software-defined Radios, Smart Cities. As an editor, she has edited four books with IGI Global and one with Nova Science Publishers. She is also working on different edited books to be published by IGI Global, Apple Academic Press, Scrivener-Wiley, Cambridge, and Springer Nature, respectively.

Dr. Shashi Kant Gupta , Post-Doctoral Fellow and Researcher, Computer Science and Engineering, Eudoxia Research University, USA. He is working as Honorary Adjunct Faculty, School of Computing, Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria (MAAUN), Nigeria. He is working as an Honorary Senior Research Fellow, Department of Scientific Research, Innovation and Training of Scientific and Pedagogical Staff, University of Economics and Pedagogy, Karshi City, Uzbekistan. He is working as a Research Collaborator and Invited Visiting Senior Scientist at the Research Institute of IoT and Cybersecurity, Department of Electronic Engineering, National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology, Taiwan. He has completed his Ph.D. (CSE) from Integral University, Lucknow & Worked as Assistant Professor in the Department of CSE, ITM, Lucknow & Worked as Assistant Professor in the Department of CSE, PSIT, Kanpur, Worked as Associate Professor, School of Computer Applications, BBD University, Lucknow, Worked as Assistant Professor, Department of CSE, Ambalika Institute of Management and Technology, Lucknow & also worked as Senior Lecturer, Department of IT, MCSCET, Lucknow. He is currently working as Founder and CEO of CREP PVT. LTD., Lucknow. He is a member of Spectrum IEEE & Potentials Magazine IEEE since 2019 and many more international organizations for research activities. He is an Editor-in-chief of International Journal of Data Informatics and Intelligent computing (IJDIIC) also Editor-in-chief of International Journal of Emerging Technologies in Computer and Communication (IJETCC). Senior Editor in Global Research Journal form London Organization of Skill Development, London, United Kingdom. He has published many research papers in reputed international journals, conferences & seminars with SCOPUS and SCI indexing. He has got many awards from many International and national organizations. He has organized various Faculty Development Programs, Seminars, Workshops, and Short-Term Courses at University level. His main research work focuses on Cloud computing, Big Data Analytics, IoT and Computational Intelligence-based Education. He is currently working as a reviewer and editorial in various international journals. He is currently editor in many edited books of different publishers like CRC Press, Taylor and Francis group Publication, Routledge Publisher, Bentham Science Publishers, Springer Nature Publisher, Wiley Publisher etc. He has published many patents like Indian, Germany, UK etc in the field of CSE and IT. He has more than 12 years of teaching experience, 2 years of Industrial Experience and more than 2.5 years as CEO and Founder of a firm.

Abeer Aljohani received the B.Sc. degree in computer science from the College of Computer Science and Engineering, Taibah University, Medina, Saudi Arabia, in 2008, the M.Sc. degree in information technology for management from the Department of Computer Science, Coventry University, U.K., in 2011, and the Ph.D. degree in computer science from the University of Loughborough, in 2019. She is currently working as an Assistant Professor with the Applied Collage, Taibah University. Her research interests include sensor technology in e-health and smart health management, smart cities, data science, artificial intelligence, evolutionary computation, machine learning, deep learning, pattern recognition, cyber security, computer vision and image processing.

Mashael Khayyat received the bachelor’s degree (Hons.) in computer science degree from King Abdul-Aziz University, in 2004, the master’s degree in applied information systems (AIS) from the Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime Transport, Alexandria, Egypt, the second master’s degree in technology management (MTM) from the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney, Australia, and the Ph.D. degree in computer science and statistics from Trinity College Dublin (TCD), Dublin, Ireland, in 2017. She has been a Supervisor at the Department of Computer and Network Engineering and an Assistant Professor at the Information Systems and Technology Department, College of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Jeddah, since 2017. Prior to that, she worked at the Information Systems Department, King Abdul-Aziz University, as an Assistant Professor. She received international and distinguished research grants from the University of Jeddah.
