This is one of the first graduate texts on Immersive Audio Signal Processing. It provides an introduction to Digital Signal Processing and Psychoacoustics, as well as a wealth of state-of-the-art applications in Audio Signal Processing, a popular and timely aspect of all Signal Processing courses within Electrical Engineering curricula. The text lays out the foundation of DSP for audio and the fundamentals of auditory perception, then goes on to discuss immersive audio rendering and synthesis, the digital equalization of room acoustics, and various DSP implementations. Accessible and relevant, and enriched with real-life examples and the most up-to-date set of references published, it is a must-have for all Electrical Engineering instructors and students investigating Digital Signal Processing.
