No markings or inscriptions; original red cloth quarter binding with printed paper-covered card boards. Binding sound though hinges a little tender in places (the webbing shows in some gutters). Edges of boards are worn but illustrated covers in good condition. There are four colour plates with captioned tissue guards; the plates are lovely and bright, generally very clean, though there are a couple of finger marks. A very good copy of this fragile book.
