Paperback. The Clowns Are Back By Unpopular Demand. The battle against the painted menace rages on. A clown congress has whipped up a plan to corrupt the famous Chilly Billie's Ice Cream. They aim to unleash a sugary nightmare upon an unsuspecting public, led by Target Designate: Ice Scream - a malevolent and treacherous clown queen. The deranged clowns have churned into a Midwest factory with a plan to taint the sweet concoctions. If successful, a single bite could be a one-way ticket to becoming a tootling terror in their clownish cavalcade. If the ice cream spreads coast to coast, no one will be safe from the delicious confection and its diabolical infection. But the elite team that defeated Clown Zero is on the case, fully loaded and ready to scoop out the terrors in the frosty depths of the factory. Their mission is clear: rescue the workers, neutralize the threat, and prevent the tainted treats from leaving the facility before they can turn innocent lives into a twisted joke. As the sinister plot unfolds, they are in for a chilling surprise as they face the most monstrous queen yet. The clock is ticking. The danger has never been greater. And with the odds stacked higher than a triple-dip cone, one thing is certain. The only way to stop this nightmare is to freeze it in its tracks. Clown Zero is a horror comedy by fantasy novelist and comic book author Ryan Foley. It is a surreal adventure about a paramilitary team hunting nightmarish clown congresses hiding amongst humanity. It is self-described as a "strange amalgam of '90s action, supernatural staples, zombie cliches, vampire tropes, and endless pop culture references" spawned from "a COVID-induced madness caused by those long stretches in isolation." Too silly to be scary but too serious to be outright ridiculous, Clown Zero is a stylized shoot-'em-up adventure filled with fast-paced action, witty dialogue, a supernatural harlequinade, and scenarios that will leave most laughing. and have coulrophobes looking for either a dumpster or a safe to lock the book away in.
