Book & Tackle located in downtown Port Orford, is the westernmost bookshop in the lower 48. We specialize in rare and unusual books and ephemera in all field, with a special focus on natural history, ecology, art, poetry, fishing, food & drink, foraging, rural arts, folk arts, the occult, anthropology, local histories, economics, gambling, & cryptography, as well as fly tying materials and tackle. We maintain a warehouse in neighboring Langlois, Oregon. Most of our inventory is not online, but we welcome your inquiries. Member ABAA / ILAB. B&T is a family owned and operated by Adam & Kate Davis, with their sons, Augie and Jack. Visitors to the shop may also run into Adam's parents, Stan and Debbie Davis. Stan Davis and the Davis boys also tie all the flies offered for sale in the shop. Adam & Kate have over 30 years experience in the rare book trade, and previously operated the bookshop and small press Division Leap.
