From the revolutionary transformation of Data Fabric and Data Mesh to the critical fundamentals of metadata and interoperability, this book maps the territory of organizational intelligence with precision and clarity. Combining conceptual rigor with operational pragmatism, we offer not only abstract theories, but applicable frameworks grounded in real-world implementations in global organizations.
Key topics covered:
- Emerging architectural paradigms (Data Fabric and Data Mesh) and their practical implementation.
- Evolution of metadata and interoperability as foundations of semantic cohesion.
- Converged technological infrastructures (Data Warehouses, Lakes, Vaults) in hybrid ecosystems.
- Knowledge Graphs as platforms for explicit modeling of relationships and contexts.
- Cognitive automation and AI as active partners in knowledge management.
- Adaptive governance to balance control and flexibility in complex environments.
By reading this book, you will be able to:
- Design informational architectures that transcend organizational silos.
- Implement effective strategies to preserve meaning and context in distributed environments.
- Select and integrate complementary technologies for maximum organizational value.
- Build infrastructures that evolve organically with emerging needs.
- Develop critical competencies for successful data-driven transformation.
- Balancing technical, organizational, and cultural dimensions in complex implementations.
