Full colour facsimile reprint of the original First World War, War Office war diary of the 3 INDIAN (LAHORE) DIVISION Divisional Troops Royal Army Medical Corps 111 Indian Field Ambulance, covering August 1914 to December 1915 across 189 pages. It names 62 places across 80 dated entries.Alongside the daily entries the volume carries two appendices.The diary opens at Lahore Coutonbeach on 12 August 1914. 1914 is the most travelled year, 44 places against 25 in the next busiest, and is spent at Orleans Camp Cercottes, Estaires, Karachi, H.M.H.T. Castalia Arabian Sea and Chateau Gorre. 1915 is spent at Zelobes, Calonne, La Miquellerie, Lozinghem and Caudescure. It closes at Suez on 31 December 1915.
