Volume 40 has two colour plates. Volume 14 has five monochrome plates, one of which is folding. Collated. In the original publisher's cloth bindings. Externally, smart. There is some bumping to the heads and tails of the spines and to the extremities. This is slightly worse to Volume 40 than Volume 14. The hinges of volume 40 are strained but firm.
