Four friends. One kingdom. A challenge bigger than anything they’ve ever faced.
Princess Journee is no ordinary mouse. Adventurous at heart and surrounded by loyal friends, she is always ready for the unexpected. But just when life in the Chokmahdon kingdom feels peaceful again since discovering the mysterious Pond of Reflection, an alarming message arrives from the crags of the High Western Mountain—one that threatens every creature who calls the kingdom home.
A weary rock hyrax brings word of a formidable danger: an enormous army of locusts gathering on the northern border in the Great Plains by the sea. Their numbers are beyond imagining, and their arrival could spell disaster for all. The Great Mouse King and his Council devise a bold and unlikely plan, one that calls upon every animal—great and small—to work together in a way the kingdom never has before.
With courage, teamwork, and the special gift of the rock hyraxes, Princess Journee and her friends embark on their most perilous adventure yet: to deliver a message of peace to the locust army through a grasshopper scout who may or may not be trustworthy. They have one agonizing shot to succeed with failure bringing certain war upon the kingdom that cannot be won. At every turn, Journee discovers that heroes come in all shapes and sizes, and even the gravest threats can hold unexpected lessons.
In a world full of surprises, the biggest one may be what kindness can do.
