An exceedingly scarce Soviet-era choral-with-chamber-orchestra work, setting poetry of Leonid Martinov - here in the vocal-piano edition. It appears that the first four songs were being prepared for a performance by a non-Russian choir, as (1) the Cyrillic text of those songs has been transliterated into the Latin alphabet and (2) a page containing a rough English translation is laid-in. CONTENTS: See accompanying scan image of the Table of Contents. 80 pages. CONDITION: A Good Plus-condition somewhat misbound copy (the first 30 pages slightly smaller than the rest) with a clear-tape-repaired spine and moderate general shelf-wear. This quite respectable copy is now in a clear, protective polypropylene bag with archival backing board.
