Item description from seller

Revised and Enlarged; This is a classic for collectors of northwest Native American history. These hymns were written by a missionary to be sung in Chinook "jargon' until English was mastered, then in English. Sung to the tune of "John Bown's Body", "Jesus Loves Me", etc. Two tunes warn of the dangers of whiskey. This is a fascinating and enlightening little book. Some pages uncut! 40 pgs. Size: 24mo - over 5" - 5¾" tall.
