Tight and unmarked." This is a great guidebook for anyone new to planning a trip utilizing a backcountry facility. Huts allow a broader range of people access to the mountains than ever before while at the same time minimizing environmental impact by concentrating use. While the authors are from Colorado and the book has a Colorado feel, it is written in a way that makes it relevant to any hut system in the US. Well researched and well written, this is the guidebook that will open up all the wonders the backcountry has to offer you."- Katie J. Antos-Ketcham.
