Professional athletes who've bled for every win, gangsters who've ruled the shadows, working-class grafters who've built the world with their hands, and actors who've clawed through rejection to claim the spotlight-they're all here. These aren't polished saints or pampered idols; they're real people, shaped by the grit of their experiences and the weight of their choices. Each has faced a different storm-be it the roar of the crowd, the sting of a blade, the grind of a 12-hour shift, or the silence of a failed audition-but they've all earned their voice. Life doesn't play favorites; it deals its hand, fair or not, and what you make of it is what matters. These stories prove that hard work, guts, and a stubborn streak of integrity can turn even the roughest deal into something worth hearing. With insights and stories from: Martin Knight, Laila Morse, Roy McDonough, Michael Mason, Martin King, Simon Bywater, Lennie Payne, Rob Silvester, Bunter Marks, Thomas Turgoose, Les Falco, Micky Goldtooth, Paul Ferris, Richie Reynolds, Bobby Cummines, Hayley Squires, Sam Dundas, Ricky Grover, Vic Dark, Jimmy Holmes, Tom Hardy, Robert Carlyle, Charles Salvador, Gary Oldman, Kathy Burke and Glasgow's Ghost The contents of this book have been carefully abridged from Lessons Vol 1 and Lessons Vol 2, two titles that are no longer in publication. This special edition consolidates key insights, stories, and reflections from both volumes, ensuring their invaluable lessons continue to be accessible to readers. In addition to the original material, several new editions and contributors have been added, offering fresh perspectives and deepening the overall narrative. While some sections have been condensed or restructured for clarity and cohesion, the essence and core message of the original works have been preserved. Please note, the book contains explicit language, and the suggested reading age is rated as 'mature' This item is printed on demand.
