Stapled card covers, landscaped quarto, 50pp, b&w photos, line drawings, colour profiles. Light wear to card edges. Near fine. History of the development/design during the 1970s/1980s of the AM General High Mobility Multi-Purpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) named the Hummer by AM General but referred to by the troops as the Humvee - both names have become interchangeable. The Humvee has been adapted for many uses such as: troop/cargo carrier; ambulance; light prime mover; shelter carrier; smoke generator; armament carrier; stinger vehicle; R&D. It has also been released on the open civilian market. Also provides an overview of in service use.
