Make AI useful in the work you already do.
You do not need to become a programmer to use generative AI thoughtfully. You need to know which tasks deserve help, how to give clear instructions, and how to judge the result.
The Human-Led AI Workday gives nontechnical professionals a practical approach to everyday writing, research, meetings, projects, and numerical work. Through clear explanations, fictional workplace examples, sample instructions, and exercises, you will learn to turn an assistant's output into work you can stand behind.
Inside, you will learn how to:
- Choose worthwhile tasks and measure the full effort involved.
- Give useful context while protecting workplace information.
- Draft and revise messages without losing your meaning or voice.
- Check sources, clarify meeting decisions, and make project tradeoffs visible.
- Review numerical claims and supervise repeatable routines.
- Keep developing your own skills as tools and working habits change.
A four-week implementation plan helps you begin with one manageable task, test the results, and build routines that fit your role. The emphasis stays on clear purpose, evidence, and professional judgment.
For office professionals, coordinators, managers, and independent workers who want practical assistance without giving up responsibility, this book offers a grounded place to start.
