There is noticeable crinkling to both the covers that extends into the book itself. Just the very slightest edge wear around the edges of the cover and beside the crinkling is in very good shape. The stapled binding is still tight. No writing or tears to the interior pages and all photos and illustrations are clean and clear. A fascinating book featuring some of the unique human interest stories of that epic battle in 1863. The book includes numerous photographs from the time of publication portraying the battlefield environment at the time of publication. 646 pages.
