Paperback. Thanks to the sophistication of the brain, humans can do amazing things that astonishes even themselves. They can produce brilliant inventions, reflect on the meaning of life with fascinating theories and retrospectively investigate their origins. But, alongside these exceptional characteristics, various highly irrational mechanisms coexist, which men (or rather their "brains") recognize but are unable to regulate in a virtuous way. The result of this imbalance significantly affects individual survival and the one of the entire terrestrial ecosystem. Thinking about it with a scientific approach, all of this seems a paradox. The pages of this essay will lead you to discover the many paradoxes and contradictions of our most powerful tool, the brain. This item is printed on demand. Shipping may be from our UK warehouse or from our Australian or US warehouses, depending on stock availability.
