The seventh edition represents the most thorough and radical revision of the text since the first edition was published, reflecting recent advances in technology and the changing requirements of today's courses.
Reorganised into four sections, and incorporating two-colour illustrations, the new text puts a greater emphasis on electrical systems, and less on circuit analysis, and deals more thoroughly with electronics.
The fundamental principles of electrical technology are clearly and simply outlined and then used to introduce the application of electrical and electronic systems. Power systems are discussed fully and the progression from analogue to digital systems is reflected in the extended coverage of digital techniques.
New features for the seventh edition include: an increased number of worked examples, 140 additional pages of text, updated review questions, two-colour diagrams and text, improved chapter summaries including key equations, definitions of important terms, and lecturers guide
"Synopsis" may belong to another edition of this title.
