414, [18], 23 p. 20 cm. B&w engraved plates. Full leather with Trinity College Dublin stamps on cover. Corners worn, rear coat of arms scuffed, vertical streaks on spine, no spine label. Spine tail chipped and bottom parts of hinges separating. Front pastedown mostly missing, no front free endpaper. Ink signature for Frances Middleton on title page. Fold-out plate across from p. 315 is partly missing. Pages darkened. Title continues: "Written in the Time of the Late Wars: Corrected and Amended. With Large Annotations, and a Preface.
