The Housemaid
When I shake Nina Winchester’s elegant, manicured hand and hear her say, “Welcome to the family,” I believe this job is my fresh start. Working in their beautiful home—with its marble hallways and perfect façade—seems like my last chance to rebuild my life.
But the Winchesters are far from perfect.
Every day, I clean their pristine house, care for their daughter, and cook meals before retreating to my tiny attic bedroom—one that I eventually realize locks from the outside. Nina creates messes just to watch me clean them. She tells unsettling lies. And her husband Andrew seems trapped in quiet misery.
As secrets begin to unravel, I remind myself of one important truth: the Winchesters don’t know who I really am. They don’t know what I’m capable of.
The Housemaid’s Secret
“Don’t go in the guest bedroom,” Douglas Garrick warns me, his voice tight with tension. His wife is “very ill,” he says.
Cleaning the Garricks’ luxurious penthouse seems like the perfect opportunity—no questions asked. But something feels wrong. I hear crying behind closed doors. I notice bloodstains on delicate white nightgowns. The secrets inside that guest bedroom are darker than I imagined.
When I finally open that door, everything changes. Douglas Garrick has done something unforgivable—and he is going to pay. The only question is how far I’m willing to go.
The Housemaid Is Watching
We finally have our dream home. A quiet cul-de-sac. A charming kitchen. A safe place for my children to grow up. My past is behind me—or so I hope.
But from the moment Mrs. Lowell greets us across the picket fence, I sense something isn’t right. Her maid’s cold stare sends chills down my spine. I catch glimpses of someone watching our house. My husband starts acting strangely, leaving late at night. And a neighbor whispers a warning: Be careful of your neighbors.
I thought I had escaped my darkest secrets. But on this quiet suburban street, danger might be closer than ever—and someone is always watching.
Gripping, addictive, and impossible to forget, The Housemaid Series is perfect for readers who love psychological thrillers, dark domestic suspense, morally complex characters, and shocking twists that keep you guessing until the very last page.
