Imprint includes: Joseph Breck & Son, Boston; C. M. Saxton & Co., New York; J. S. Waters, Baltimore; and S. C. Griggs & Co., Chicago. Bookplates on front fixed endpaper for former owners Abington Library Society, and John Lambert. Articles include: biographical sketches of American horticulturists Marshall Pinckney Wilder (1798-1886), and Thomas Hogg (1778-1855); Construction of Roads and Walks by William Saunders; and Plants for Hanging Vases by Thomas Meehan. Scarce. In Fair+ Condition: boards are detached but present; lacking leather over spine; foxing; otherwise, clean and solid.
