About this Item
Slim 22pp hardcover in navy blue paper covered boards illustrated with a large orange question mark with a horse's head in the center, a black title box above it with white lettered title within, orange spine title a bit offset but still legible. Book shows color loss at tips and spine ends with a repaired split at the upper 1" of frt gutter. Lovely full color endpapers fore and aft, and many line drawings within. There are no names or tears but an occasional light fingerprint in margins of a couple of pages. Stapled page block starting to pull from spine paper but still attached. No date found but a colleague lists it as 1952. Displays well on the shelf from the front. An abbreviated introduction to Horse Breeds, Horses in History, Mythical Horses, Horses of Yesterday and Today. Seller Inventory # 47603
