There are horrors buried beneath the earth, horrors waiting beyond the veil of death, and horrors that dwell within the human soul. Some have slept for centuries. Others have been with us all along. And some are far worse than anything the imagination dares to conjure.
In The Horror Collection: Special Edition IV, the boundaries of reality begin to crumble.
Beneath the endless Kansas plains, an ancient presence stirs. In a hallucinatory rainforest, a one-eyed tiger hunts its prey — but something far more terrible awaits in the depths of the jungle. A grieving boy receives messages from beyond the grave, while a photographer's dreams become harbingers of death. On an isolated Alaskan expedition, an unseen creature turns familiar faces into instruments of terror, and trust becomes a luxury no one can afford.
A detective is offered one final chance to defy the impossible. A holiday romance spirals into a bewildering supernatural paradox. And behind the walls of an aristocratic palace, a monstrous secret threatens to shatter everything its keepers hold dear.
From the depths of cosmic horror to the darkest recesses of the mind, these eight tales plunge into worlds where the natural order is corrupted, the dead refuse to remain silent, and the ancient forces lurking beyond human comprehension are never as distant as we would like to believe.
Featuring unsettling mysteries, nightmarish transformations, impossible choices and revelations that threaten to unravel reality itself, this is horror in all its magnificent, terrifying variety.
The darkness is ancient. The nightmares are endless. And there is no guarantee that you will emerge unchanged.
