Mina Farmanbar is Associate Professor at the computer science department at the University of Stavanger (UiS), Norway. Notably, she is recognized among Norway's top 100 women in the AI field, a testament to her impactful contributions, and is currently Deputy Leader of the Applied Intelligence and Emerging Technologies (AIxTech) research group, at the University of Stavanger. She has been Program Committee Member of NORA—Norwegian Artificial Intelligence Research Consortium since 2021—and Program Committee Member and Proceedings Chair of the Springer International Conference on Frontiers of AI, Ethics, and Multidisciplinary Applications (FAIEMA). Her research interests span a wide range of topics within the field, including but not limited to data science, natural language processing, and machine learning applications.
Maria P. Tzamtzi is Electrical and Computer Engineer with Ph.D. on automatic control systems. She is Professor of automatic control systems at the Department of Digital Industry Technologies of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), Vice-Head of this department, and Member of the Robotics, Automatic Control and Cyber-Physical Systems Laboratory of NKUA. She has served as Director of the NKUA’s MSc Program on “Augmented Textual Studies: Text Encoding and Text Mining”, as well as Member of the steering committees for two M.Sc. Programs of NKUA on “Advanced Robotics and Control Systems” and on “Digital Humanities”. She has received a 2023 Olympiad Medal from the International Olympiad Committee in Engineering Science of the conference Olympiad in Engineering Science 2023. Her experience on these fields comprises authorship of research papers, participation in several research projects, as well as long teaching experience in pregraduate and postgraduate programs.
Klaus Schoeffmann is Associate Professor at the Institute of Information Technology (ITEC) at Klagenfurt University, Austria. His research focuses on video retrieval and interactive multimedia systems, particularly in the medical domain. He has co-authored numerous publications on various topics in multimedia, and he has co-organized several international conferences, workshops, and special sessions in the field of multimedia. Furthermore, he is Co-Founder of the Video Browser Showdown (VBS)—an international live evaluation competition of interactive video search.
Nikolaos D. Kouvakas is Associate Professor of automatic control in motion and navigation systems, at the Department of Digital Industry Technologies of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), in Greece. He is also Member of the Robotics, Automatic Control and Cyberphysical Systems Laboratory of NKUA and Deputy Scientific Coordinator of the M.Sc. Program in "Advanced Control Systems and Robotics". Dr. Kouvakas has more than twenty years of teaching experience in undergraduate and postgraduate level as well as research experience in the areas of automatic control systems, robotics, and process control systems. His research interests include process modeling, distributed control systems, control in wastewater treatment plants, networked control systems, industrial control, robot control, and AI applications in robotic and industrial systems. He has authored several scientific publications in the above fields.
Ajit Kumar Verma is Professor at the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, Haugesund, Norway, since March 2012, and he was Professor/Senior (HAG) Scale Professor with the Reliability Engineering/Department of Electrical Engineering at IIT Bombay for around 15 years with a research focus in reliability, risk and safety engineering, and computational intelligence applications. He has been associated with various Springer projects as Author/Editor of books, Series Editor of many book series, Patron/Editor-in-Chief of journals, guest edited over 12 special issues of various journals, and has been on the editorial board of several journals.

If you are a consumer you can withdraw from the contract in accordance with the following. Consumer means any natural person who is acting for purposes which are outside his trade, business, craft or profession.
Information regarding the right of withdrawal
Statutory right to withdraw
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good or the last lot or piece.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, electronically fill in and submit a clear statement on our website, under "My Purchases" in "My Account". We will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to moluna, Greven, Germany, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
