All of the pages are intact and the cover is intact and the spine may show signs of wear. The book may have minor markings which are not specifically mentioned. A good condition book. Volume 1 only. An ex-library copy with notable label residue and scraps left on the pastedowns as the only sign. This copy is bound in dark half-leather with blue marbled boards and a plain spine. The leather sections show notable rubbing and scuffs, particularly to the corners. Minor cracking to one spine edge towards the bottom. Lighter chipping and scuffs to the board edges and centres. The binding remains very hardy and secure, and the textblock is similarly firm. A few faint tidemark-like marks to the plates. The fold-out has a few tidy signs of repair to it's rear side. The contents show a light amount of age and expected dust to the edges and margins, but the tan is pleasantly mild for the book's age and the foxing is faint and scarce.
