Add to basketIn times of suffering, we may feel emotional distress, pain, confusion, or hopelessness, doubting
God's plan and struggling to believe affliction is but for a moment. Holding on to our faith,
symbolized by the scent of water, lifts us from hopelessness and confusion and leads us to
healing and restoration.
Having experienced this through her own Christian walk, author Naa Korkoi Achereku Tackie
breaks down this process into four comprehensible parts to empower, encourage, and inspire
others in "Hope Redeemed - At the Scent of Water". Readers begin by reflecting on their
mental, physical, or emotional state before encountering God's guiding process and His work in
their situation. This unfolds through stages of restoration, promising new growth and culminating
in rest, renewed faith, and hope.
As Job said, a tree that has been cut down will sprout again at the scent of water, so, too, can a
person who has lost hope find restoration.
Naa Korkoi is a Christian, a member of the International Central Gospel Church - Holy Ghost Temple in Accra, Ghana, West Africa and a lawyer by profession. She has been burdened over the years to bring a message of hope in Christ to people overwhelmed by the vicissitudes of life. This burden heightened with her personal experiences encountered from long periods of life-threatening illness, divorce, emotional and physical struggles and eventually stepping out victorious. She wants to bring comfort, courage, resilience and strength through her myriad experiences of her life and promote how faith in God has the potency to overturn any life challenge. Her passion is to be a voice that shares the message of hope for healing and restoration.
