[Science Fiction Adventure] FIRST THUS. Octavo (21 x 14cm), pp.192. Publisher's brown cloth with gilt titles to spine. With the black and blue dust-jacket, originally priced at 12/6, and re-priced to £1.25 with a sticker. Gently toned throughout. Original price to back cover crossed out with a black marker. Jacket price-clipped and slightly toned to spine. A crisp, clean copy. Near fine. The second half of one of Verne's forays into deep space, stuffed to the portholes with men in handlebar moustaches lurching about jungles on horseback and launching into orbit in a balloon. First published in French in 1877 and translated into English the same year.
